About this Ring

METAL

About metal

18K white gold is a premium jewelry metal made from 75% pure gold blended with other alloys to create its bright, silvery appearance. It is typically used in fine jewelry and features a brilliant, highly reflective shine due to a protective outer layer of rhodium plating. While lighter in weight than platinum, it provides exceptional scratch resistance but may require occasional re-plating to maintain its bright white color.

PAVÉ

About pavé

A modern pavé named for the U-shaped grooves visible in profile. Typically set on a rounded surface with smooth side walls. U-cut pave maximizes the size of diamond to the width of metal and exposes the girdles of the diamonds from the side since there are no bright cut walls. The melee are tight together making them appear to float, with minimal visible metal.
